Brief History

INVITÉCNICA is a company specialized in the import, export, and wholesale of electrotechnical materials, accessories, and tools for low, medium, and high voltage electrical networks, as well as telecommunications systems. In addition, it provides technical support and assembles switchboards and cabinets for low-voltage electrical power distribution and telecommunications.
 
In 2022, the "D&D - Design & Development" Department was created, reinforcing the company's capacity for innovation and technical response to market demands.
 
Founded in October 1986, Invitécnica began its activities with headquarters in Porto and quickly distinguished itself in the market for its strong customer orientation and technical competence, widely valued by professionals in the sector.
 
In 1997, Invitécnica reinforced its share capital and acquired its current facilities, taking the company and its customer service to a new level. The new facilities, a modern building located in the industrial area of ​​Maia, a highly relevant area in the north of the country, have adequate infrastructure and excellent access, contributing significantly to improving the company's responsiveness and internal organization.
 
In 2000, the process of implementing a quality management system based on the ISO 9002:1995 standard began, evolving in 2003 to the ISO 9001 standard. More recently, in 2024, the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) began, simultaneously encompassing the ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards, which was completed in 2025.
